Mohawk Networks targets 'Forgotten Mile' in cross-border broadband JV
Mohawk Networks LLC, owned by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, has formed a majority-controlled joint venture with Canadian utility contractor Aecon to connect what it calls the "forgotten mile" — tribal communities overlooked in national broadband expansion efforts.

Mohawk Networks LLC (“Mohawk Networks”), an enterprise of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, and Aecon Utilities are pleased to announce that they have formed the Aecon-Mohawk Networks Joint Venture (“Aecon-Mohawk Networks”) to provide an Indigenous-led solution for utilities-related work in the United States. Mohawk Networks will hold a majority interest in the partnership.
